I've got a 4gb Sansa e260. The only way to add videos to it is to convert them using the Sansa Media Converter which then adds them to the player.

No Sansa Detected |

I have purchased a used e280 with firmware version 1.02.18A specifically to install Rockbox on. When I run the installer, it automatically detects the e280 and identifies the location correctly, however, when I try to install, I get the message, "No Sansa detected!" I did not have the Sansa Updater installed and one of the FAQs led me to believe that I might need it, so I installed, but, alas, no joy. I am up a stump here. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Never Mind, I got it done by installing manually.

memory? |

Hey, I was having a few problems with my clip when I got it, putting on music and such. It was showing on my computer that i was putting music on, but nothing was showing up on the player itself. Anyway, I figured out why, and deleted the music I had put on it. Now those files are gone, and so is the memory they took up. My player is working fine, but what was a 2gb player is now about 700mb. Can anyone tell me what happened? and possibly how to fix it.
Thanks!

My sons e250r wont load past the initial Sandisk splash screen. I've placed it into the 16MB mode using the record key and tried to load 2 files from a zip file downloaded from the san disk site a .rom and a .mi4. The files show up in the explorer window for the drive. i unplug and it goes through a series of reading and updating then finishes by resetting itself. The end result is always that it stops at the SanDisk Load screen. Please Help

e250 playlist puzzlement |

I have a number of songs in my Go List playlist. With my e250 plugged in using MTP mode, I was able to copy and paste the Go List to create a new playlist, rename the copy to something else, view the new playlist, reorganize the list, etc. but when I disconnected the e250, the playlists selection didn't show my new list. I even put it into MSC mode and removed the "Hidden" checkmark from the file. I don't understand why I can see the new playlist and even modify it, as long as it's connected to my pc, but once I disconnect it, the new playlist doesn't show up. Any help?

'Tis the season to give, but with the current economic crunch affecting all of our pocketbooks, you may find yourself too cash-strapped to go all out on electronic gadgetry.
