SanDisk just released a firmware update for the Sansa Fuze -- pretty minor, except it adds in support for FLAC and Ogg, which should make fans of jam bands and lossless music encoding extremely happy.

e260 not recognized by Rhapsody or WM11 |

My Sansa e260 connects just fine to my Windows XP Sp2 - until I launch either Rhapsody or WM11. It won't recognize my device. It attempts to - it displays the fact that it found the device briefly, then it doesn't. It keeps toggling (attemps to recognize it, then doesn't). Rhapsody is of no help. I have been to Tier 2 twice.
I have unisntalled both Rhapsody and WM11 and reinstalled both. My firmware is up to date on my e260.
HELP!!!!!

It's possible that the Fuze was introduced by SanDisk to round out its line, since the Sansa Connect, which was tightly integrated with the now-defunct Yahoo! Music, was recently discontinued.

Hi,
Sorry for my poor english. I have buy the Mp3 player in Object.
I have some problems to update the firmware. I follow the instruction that was written in sandisk site. I download "SansaUpdateInstaller"... But when I connect my player into USB port and try to use the application , It say that my player was in MTP mode and the only way to install the new firmware is to switch the player in MSC mode. I search in Internet the way to switch it in MSC mode and I found the solution: "go in Settings and after in USB mode" but in my "Settings" menu there isn't any "USB" voice....
Can I have some help to switch in MSC mode, or if is not possible can you say me how i can update my firmware?

The Sansa Clip has sold beyond all expectations and SanDisk's willingness to listen to users when it comes to adding features have made it a really good choice for an MP3 player.

Did they drop it in one of the firmware upgrades? I rarely use it but now that football season is here there are a few times when I want it to listen to games at work. Didn't even notice it was gone until I went to use it to listen to the Eagles a few weeks ago.
Did they drop it permanently?
